Fundamental Elements of Good Design
Permaculture is fundamentally a design science. In this video I review the five main categories of design including the users (people), function, responsible and healthy aspects of design, sustainability, and technology used in good design.
I review important elements, in each of these categories, which merit your consideration when designing a project. Certainly some of these design elements do not need to be considered for small projects on the homestead or the small-scale farm. However I have included each of the elements that I consider before taking on a large project. Bear in mind that each one of these elements is made up of consideration of multiple factors.
